WWII Letters - Henry Schwager                                                                                       Letters from my father to his then love interest and later my Mother. Sent from various parts of the Pacific War Theater.

The letters span the time period from October 1944 through December 1945. They include his time in the Phillipines, the attack Onkinawa, and long days on Saipan after the war ended waiting to be shipped home. Most of the content appears aimed at courting my mother and lamenting the lack of alcoholic beverages in the region. The letters are a bit racy but totally expected from a 22 year old in the Army!
